My figure painting falls into a number of subjects.
The beach scenes, Shoreline, were inspired by visits to St Ives and the Mediterranean resorts of the Costa Brava and Calpe on the Costa Blanca.
Other paintings, of single or groups of people, are mainly set in restaurants and have an element of irony and characature.
